Doubl.Marina Rules
1) The Marina and all boat slips, boardwalks and pilings are the property of the Anatole Bay Homeowners Association (ABHOA). Boats slips are not owned by homeowners but are assigned by the ABHOA for the residents' use. The ABHOA may assign or reassign boat slips at its discretion.
2) The marina is to be used by Anatole Bay residents only. Only boats that are registered with the ABHOA are permitted. Online registration can be done by logging on to the ABHOA website @ anatolebay.com . Unregistered boats will be removed from the property after a trespassing warning letter has been placed on the boat.
3) Boat trailers must be registered on-line at anatolebay.com and can only be parked at approved boat parking area. " See boat trailer parking rules".
4) Residents may invite guests to use their assigned slip, however no guest may occupy a boat slip for more than 14 days within any calendar year. Residents may not rent out a slip assigned to them for their use. No one is permitted to live on a boat parked in the marina without prior approval from the ABHOA.
5) All boats must be maintained in seaworthy condition, boat owners must maintain their boat so that it does not become unsightly. Boats must be registered and equipped as required by law with required safety and emergency equipment.
6) Boat owners must provide their own mooring lines and should use good practice in securing their boat so as not to damage the slip or other water craft. Mooring lines should be secured when not in use so as to not obstruct other slips. Boats should be secured so that no part of the boat projects over the walkway. Refuse and garbage should be removed and disposed of properly.
7) Marina boardwalks should remain free of any obstructions. Gear and accessories should not be left unattended on any boardwalk. No permanent attachments may be installed on the boardwalks without prior approval of the ABHOA.
8) Major repairs and painting must be not be done anywhere in the marina without prior approval from the ABHOA. Pollutants and waste are not permitted to be discharged within the marina.
9) Any boat owner causing damage to the marina or another boat must report the incident to the ABHOA within 24 hours and will be held fully responsible for the cost of all damages.
10) Any boat that becomes the property of a non resident must be removed from the marina. The ABHOA may request proof of ownership if it deems it necessary to determine if a boat may be placed in the marina.
11) All boat owners must agree during the registration process to remove their boats from the marina in the event the Biloxi area comes under a hurricane warning. Boat owners will have 24 hours to vacate the marina once the warning is issued and may not return until the tropical system has cleared.
12) All boats registered at Anatole Bay must carry a minimum of $250,000 liability insurance. Proof of insurance must be submitted to anatolebay@yahoo.com yearly.
13) Floating docks in Anatole Bay slips must be secured to pilings in a manner that prevents any contact with piers, bulkheads, or any other structures. The floating dock owner shall be responsible for all damage to Anatole Bay property (including property owned by the homeowners’ association or by an individual) caused by a floating dock including, but not limited to, damage during a storm if not covered by insurance. Written permission from the lessor is required prior to installation of a floating dock by a tenant, since the lessor (homeowner) assumes all responsibility for damages caused to Anatole Bay property if not covered by the tenant. Floating docks and jet skis must be removed from the marina within 24 hours following the issuance of a hurricane warning for Biloxi. (Approved 9/2022)
14) 14) Access to the marina area for boating, fishing, etc., is for the pleasure of Anatole Bay residences. When using the piers, all individuals must be accompanied by a resident or homeowner. (Approved 5/2023)
